Business Experience

With more than 25 years as a sales & marketing leader in the corporate world, I am no stranger to hard work, sleepless nights and the never-ending cycle of only being as good as your last month’s results. I have seen success working with both internal shareholders and external affiliates. I have led multi-million dollar sales channels with anywhere from 50-500 employees.

I enjoyed the time I spent working with affiliates the most as these were the true entrepreneurs of the business. Every visit with them was a business consultation. My job was to help them maximize their productivity by offering solutions and best practices to help them get results and improve their bottom line. It was during that time that I learned to master the power of influence. I also learned what it meant to put everything you have on the line for your business. I had the benefit of experiencing the life of an entrepreneur without the risk of losing it all, yet.

At the end of 2016 my job was eliminated. I chose to accept my severance package rather than relocating my family for other opportunities within the company. I decided it was time to join the ranks of the entrepreneur inside that has been dying to get out!

What started out as “just for fun” quickly became a community resource.

My experience with managing social media (specifically Facebook) began in 2014 when I started volunteering my time as an administrator for a local Facebook Group. As a founding member of the group, and a long time friend of the founder herself, it made sense for me to jump in and assist.

In 5 years we have grown the group to over 20,000 members with 17,000 actively participating on a monthly basis. We’ve seen friendships built, pets found, people helping people in our community, at least one marriage and a separate group that formed with the soul purpose to feed and care for kids in need in Pinellas County.

In 2018 we added a public page and are on our way to 4,000 followers in just a few months. We monetized our group and are in the early stages of launching a newsletter for our members. We allow businesses to post once a week and have seen first hand how the power of social media can change the course of a business for the better. I’ve also seen the tremendous gaps that exist with both business owners and individuals and their understanding of how to leverage this powerful tool. I am making it my mission to help close these gaps for those that truly want a more impactful experience, personally or in their business.

So how can I help?

I understand how to leverage most social platforms but Facebook is my wheelhouse. Things are constantly changing and it takes being engaged daily to keep track of and understand how each change impacts your social media strategy. I am that person.I am committed to making social media simple for you! For individuals, that may mean simply knowing that your profile is secure and that your posts are only being seen where you want them to be seen.
